buying bandaids.....
Where is the best (cheap) place to buy medical supplies such and bandages and first aid type products?
I stopped by Walmart and bought some isopropyl and bandaids and antibiotic ointments, but I really need to do it right. |
Re: buying bandaids.....
I like Emergency Medical Products. They have a pretty good selection of first aid and EMT supplies. Here is their page for bandages:

Re: buying bandaids.....
I can recommend these bandages, they contain silver too, quite fitting:-
http://www.elastoplast.ca/index.php?p=73&lang=2 My most recent bad injury was ripping off a small toenail, quite painful, I treated it with 3% hydrogen peroxide perodically and wrapped a silverhealing bandaid around it (replaced dressing daily). It's healing up nicely now, and a new toenail is now growing back. Yay! :) Hydrogen peroxide is amazing stuff on cuts/wounds etc. To heal effectively it's also good to take a good multivitamin daily, have a good diet and take vitamin E daily, it's an amazing healing vitamin. I have found supermarkets and pharmacies to be really expensive for any medical supplies, particularly the better stuff, like dressings and non-stick wound pads, very overpriced (bandaids are always cheap). I'm looking for a cheaper source around here for medical supplies as I'd like a small stock of the non-perishable items. Don't forget the superglue, it's great for closing serious wounds to stem bleeding until you can get help. |
